The first level Help Desk for logging the incidents. A

unresolved calls are routed by Level-1 to the next level.
Level-2 Support – Application and function within Expert support. All
calls, with the exceptions of the ones which require code changes in the
system get resolved in this level.
Level-3 Support – Application and within application the function
related Expert support with expertise and authorization to modify the
code in the system. Incidents which require to change code to resolve
the problem are escalated to this level. Minor enhancements coming as a
Change Request from an user, are also addressed in this level.
Level-4 Support -- Coordination with OEM or Product Vendor Support.
Incident which require either the Software or Hardware product vendor to
resolve are taken at this level and coordinated with the Product Vendor
till resolution.
