A brief profile of some of the core team members is as below:

Goutam:

He has over 25 years of leadership experience in IT support services operations and product marketing activities. He is an engineer in Electronics and Tele-communication and is the Chief Executive Officer for this business enterprise. His dynamism is contagious and has a multiplier effect on the entire team. Goutam is a founder member of Gatec Solutions and is based out of India HQ at Kolkata.

Arunashish:

He is a batch mate of Goutam and brings to the team similar experience of more than 25 years in managing IT operations for large corporate business houses in India. An entrepreneur since the last eight years, he owns a large set-up engaged in IT software training and development. Arunashish manages the delivery operations in the Kolkata center.

Uday:

He is a Chartered Accountant by profession with over eight years of experience. He would spearhead the finance operation of Gatec.

Anjan:

He brings ten years of experience in the software development field. He has vast experience in tool-based system testing, and a very special eye for detailing. He leads the quality team of Gatec.

Binayak and Sanjay:

They each have over 5 years of experience in systems development and project management functions. These young engineers have specialization in ASP, Dot Net, SQL, Java, JSP, Servlets, Struts, CGI/Perl, C++, and HTML among others. They are forceful, self motivated, and are ever ready to face any kind of challenging situation.

Gatec Solutions on its path to set up a worldwide operations chose its head quarters to be out of Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This city known as The city of joy, a city of love and warmth, with a lot of human touch. Kolkata is also called 'the cultural capital of India'. With a strong supportive Government, there is all round development in the state, particularly the development in IT segment is phenomenal in the last few years. The availability of knowledge resources and talent pool combined with the state infrastructure prompted Gatec Solutions to decide on the first center to commence operations out of Kolkata. Gatec has representation offices in UK, USA and Canada through marketing alliances.

The first delivery center has a 40 seater state of the art infrastructure powered by Intel P4 workstations connected to high end servers with open end industry standard Operating systems. The center is completely networked with high speed LAN and 512 Kbps Internet Broadband connectivity.
