consulting engagements with our clients on their off shoring initiatives .We believe
that the success of any project off shored depends on the transition rigor or the migration
methodology adapted.
Our team consists of experience professionals from the business delivery/ operations
background who have been assisting various global clients in migrating their processes
to India since the past few years. Our teams carry rich knowledge on the procedures and
the rigor attached to this business domain. This team also comprises of core transitioning
experts who have worked on end-to-end projects using scientific tools based on tollgate
methodologies, which is devised, and works on a six-sigma framework.
The team would assist the customers on the following phases of any transition:
| Phase - I |
Identify the right projects and create first level solution designs. The
team can get involved in arriving at a project level or at a business level
off shoring study with the client teams. This study would help to identify
and confirm any opportunity, which might be of interest and advantage the
client organization. |

| Phase - II |
Planning and Implementation roadmap for the project.
This phase would help to create a detailed project plan, the factors
affecting the plan, the risk areas and the possible solution areas, metrics
and dependencies, resource needs, infrastructure needs, training needs and
the timelines for operating a full scale operation offshore. |

| Phase - III |
Knowledge development and Movement offshore.
This phase is one of the most critical phases wherein the team would provide
onshore or offshore resources with best-suited skills for learning and
capturing the knowledge from the client environment to the new environment. |

| Phase - IV |
Trial Run or testing stage.
This phase would be initiating a trial / test run for a stipulated interval
for the project .The team would assist in setting up the offshore operations,
start up the delivery, ramp up to the desired scale, map the deviation from
the original metrics and devise the charter to reach and exceed the expected
goals with the help of the service delivery teams. |

Steady State Handover stage.
This phase would be final handling over to the operations after reaching a steady mode.
This phase would be final sign off for the start up of the project as per the expected
levels of the engagement. |

All of the phases above are based on a tollgate methodology wherein every tollgate and
every sub activity of a tollgate is formally signed off between the client and the service
provider.

Gatec Solutions consulting arm offers services to the organizations, contemplating
or evaluating options for off -shoring their deployable business processes. This
also includes IT Infrastructure support and Managed services from a remote desk
and Human Resource planning with staffing solutions for mid sized operations.
This team would focus on these engagements with the objective that each of these
customers would get the best out of the investments planned for offshore services
resulting substantial cost benefits.
We use a specific methodology based on some templates and tools, which is proven
and accepted globally for executing these kinds of study and analysis projects.

The team would devise the short term and long-term project implementation
plan with envisaged showstoppers and their actionable mitigation. |

The team would define the vendor evaluation strategies, RFI and RFP contents,
competency mapping and comparison matrix, pilot plans and commercial model for
the engagements with the offshore suppliers. |

The team would map the existing KPM's and CPM's at customer processes or support
desks to the expected metric standards from the offshore service providers on a
short term and long-term perspective. These metrics would also define the improvement
and productivity enhancement parameters from the supplier based on the quality
standards adapted. |
